Sixth is an AI coding agent that lives in VS Code. You describe what you want in plain language, and Sixth reads your project, plans the work, edits files, runs commands and checks its own results, asking for your approval wherever you want it to. It works with the frontier models out of the box (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, DeepSeek and more) through your Sixth account, so there’s no API key to set up unless you want to bring your own.

What Sixth can do

Build and fix code

Reads and edits files, runs commands, browses the web and verifies its work, with a checkpoint after every change.

Design Studio

Pick one of 300+ designer-made themes and Sixth builds your app in that style. No designer needed.

Background agents

Hand a task to a dedicated agent with @agent:name and keep chatting while it works.

Sub-agents

Sixth splits big jobs across 1–5 parallel sub-agents, so multi-part work finishes faster.

Skills

Reusable instruction sets that teach Sixth your workflows. Run one with /skill-name.

Workflow integrations

Connect Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Slack and more so Sixth can work across your everyday tools.

Telegram

Keep your coding tasks going from your phone, 24/7.

Interactive planning

See a complex task as an interactive flowchart before any code is written.

Image generation

Generate images and save them straight into your project.

Plan, Act & Explore

Plan first, build immediately, or have Sixth document an unfamiliar codebase.

How you stay in control

  • Approvals. Sixth asks before it edits files, runs commands or uses external tools, unless you’ve auto-approved that kind of action.
  • Checkpoints. Every change is snapshotted, so you can compare and restore your files, the conversation, or both.
  • Rules. Sixth Rules give Sixth your project’s conventions on every task.
